Care Not Cash
February 24, 2020
Millions of homeless individuals are scattered all throughout the world. Trying to find reliable shelter, food to eat and money to technically just survive! This problem has a become more normal to our world. People mess up in some kind of way whether it’s mentally or physically and have nothing to offer anymore.
One of the first instincts when somebody would see a homeless person on the side of the road asking for money, we think that they’re going to use our money for the wrong things like alcohol and drugs. If the public offers to help get them on their feet instead of handing money over, we could make it to a better outcome. “Care not cash”, the saying to help the people don’t entertain it by paying for it!
One solution that an individual is working on, is to build homes for the homeless to get back on their feet. Help apply to jobs, provide some clothes, and push them to be successful again. I think this is a great idea. I don’t think anybody should take the easy way of things, and I think we should help and push these people back on there feet to later be successful.

I agree, we need to help people who are homeless a lot more than we do now.

I believe something should be done for the homeless problem, and a program made to help them get on their feet might be just that.

I agree that we should be doing more to help homelessness. We should be giving those people opportunities not just giving them spare change.

I agree that something needs to be done. However I do think that people should give the homeless food instead of money because they could potentially be pretending to be homeless and using their “donations” for the wrong reasons.

I agree this could work potentially, but knowing today’s society people won’t wanna spend their time on them which is sad
